What to Know Before You Go
Bring neutral lightweight clothing, a warm layer for early mornings, closed shoes, a hat, sunscreen, binoculars and a camera with enough battery and storage.
This itinerary is excellent for travelers who want to reduce time spent changing parks and focus almost entirely on game drives in the Masai Mara.
From July to October, the Mara becomes especially dramatic as wildebeest and zebra move through the ecosystem and river crossings may occur.
Balloon safaris are best arranged early and work especially well for couples, photographers and travelers wanting a premium Mara experience.
Perfect for short Kenya safari holidays, honeymoon packages, family adventures, Big Five seekers, Great Migration travelers and first-time visitors.
Because you spend three nights in one reserve, you have more chances to revisit active wildlife areas and work with better light conditions.
