Safari Itinerary
Pick-up:
Our safari guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Nairobi early in the morning, usually around 6:00 AM to 6:30 AM.
Drive to Nairobi National Park: Enjoy a short drive (about 30 minutes) from Nairobi city center to Nairobi National Park. Along the way, our experienced guide will provide some background information about the park and its wildlife.
Morning Game Drive:
Upon arrival, start your game drive in search of wildlife. Nairobi National Park is known for its diverse range of animals including lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, rhinos and more, which our guide will help you spot and identify.
Visit to Ivory Burning Site: Visit the Ivory Burning Site Monument, which commemorates Kenya’s efforts against illegal ivory trade.
Leave Nairobi National park and head to the Elephant Orphanage (Subject to availability) in time for an hour of close up interaction with rescued orphaned elephants and rhinos
Lunch:
Lunch stop at a designated stop as you head to Giraffe Centre.
Visit to the Giraffe Centre:
Head to the Giraffe Centre, a conservation and education center dedicated to the endangered Rothschild giraffe. Feed these gentle giants from a raised platform and learn about their conservation.
Cultural Visit (Optional):
Depending on your interests and time, visit a local community or craft center to experience traditional Kenyan culture and interact with local artisans.
Karen Blixen Museum:
Located in the suburb of Karen in Nairobi, the museum is the former home of Karen Blixen. It showcases her life and works, including memorabilia and photographs from her time in Kenya. Visiting the Karen Blixen Museum is a fascinating journey into the life of a remarkable woman and her enduring connection to Kenya.
Our safari guide will drop you off at your accommodation or another agreed-upon location in Nairobi ending your fun-filled tour day of Nairobi with us.
