Start early for the best wildlife activity of the day. Amboseli's open plains make game viewing easy and photography excellent, especially in the soft morning light.
Head to Observation Hill for sweeping views across the park, swamps, and plains. On a clear day, Mount Kilimanjaro reveals its famous snow-capped summit.
Continue exploring Amboseli in search of massive elephant tuskers, lions, cheetahs, buffalo, hyenas, and outstanding birdlife around the swamps and marshes.
After breakfast, travel north-west through Kenya's dramatic landscapes toward the Great Rift Valley and Lake Naivasha.
Explore Hell's Gate on a guided bicycle safari or walking tour. This is one of the few parks in Kenya where you can move through the landscape outside a vehicle among zebras, gazelles, and elands.
Settle into your lodge near the lake and enjoy a peaceful evening after an active day in one of Kenya's most scenic regions.
Begin the day with a scenic boat safari gliding past hippos and watching fish eagles dive across the water.
Enjoy a guided walking safari among giraffes, zebras, and antelope in a calm natural setting with wonderful photographic opportunities.
Continue to the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive and head out for an evening game drive across the reserve's famous golden plains.
Spend the day searching for lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhino, cheetah, giraffe, zebra, hyena, jackal, and many antelope species across one of Africa's greatest wildlife destinations.
Enjoy a picnic lunch near the Mara River, where hippos and crocodiles are often seen. During migration season, this region becomes one of Africa's most dramatic wildlife stages.

What to Know Before You Go
Bring lightweight neutral clothing, a warm layer for early mornings, comfortable shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. A camera and binoculars will make the wildlife experience even better.
Most travelers should complete Kenya's eTA process online before travel. Apply in advance and make sure your passport, travel details, and accommodation information are ready.
Travelers should check routine vaccination guidance and discuss malaria prevention with a medical professional before travel. Bring any personal medication and basic safari essentials.
Mobile signal is generally available in many safari areas but may be weak in some remote zones. Carry a power bank, charging cables, and a universal adapter for convenience.
This safari suits honeymooners, families, photographers, first-time Africa visitors, and travelers looking for a balanced mix of wildlife, scenery, and soft adventure.
This route works well year-round. From July to October, Masai Mara may offer Great Migration action, while Amboseli is excellent for elephants and mountain views in clear weather.
