Morning Departure from Nairobi

Depart Nairobi for Amboseli National Park โ€” a scenic drive of approximately 4 hours (240 km) through the Kenyan countryside. Your professional driver-guide will collect you from your hotel or designated meeting point.

Midday Arrival & Check-in

Arrive at Amboseli and check into your lodge or camp โ€” options include Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge, Tortilis Camp, or Kibo Safari Camp. Enjoy a welcome lunch before the afternoon adventure begins.

Afternoon Afternoon Game Drive

Head out for your first game drive across Amboseli's open plains. The park is world-famous for its large elephant herds and the breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro rising above the savannah. Look out also for lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and rich birdlife.

Evening Dinner & Lodge Amenities

Return to the lodge for dinner. Relax and enjoy the amenities. A night game drive is available at select lodges if you'd like to explore after dark.

Early Morning Sunrise Game Drive in Amboseli

Rise early for Amboseli at its most magical โ€” the soft golden light of sunrise illuminates Kilimanjaro and brings the plains alive with wildlife. An ideal time to photograph elephants and spot predators returning from the night's hunt.

Late Morning Breakfast & Departure for Tsavo West

Return to the lodge for breakfast, check out, and depart for Tsavo West National Park โ€” approximately a 2โ€“3 hour drive (150 km) through changing landscapes.

Afternoon Arrival & Afternoon Game Drive

Arrive at Tsavo West and check into your lodge โ€” choices include Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge, Severin Safari Camp, or Finch Hattons. After lunch, head out to explore the park's dramatic landscapes: the Shetani Lava Flow and the famous Mzima Springs, where you can observe hippos and crocodiles from an underwater viewing chamber.

Evening Dinner & Overnight
