Day-by-Day Itinerary
Your safari guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Nairobi early in the morning, usually between 6:00 AM and 6:30 AM, to begin your exciting day of wildlife viewing and discovery.
Enjoy a short drive of about 30 minutes from Nairobi city center to Nairobi National Park. Along the way, your experienced guide will provide background information about the park, its history, and the wildlife you may encounter.
Upon arrival, begin your game drive in search of wildlife. Nairobi National Park is known for its diverse range of animals including lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, rhinos and many more. Your guide will help you spot, identify and appreciate the wildlife throughout the drive.
Stop at the Ivory Burning Site Monument, an important landmark that commemorates Kenya’s efforts against poaching and the illegal ivory trade.
Leave Nairobi National Park and head to the Elephant Orphanage, subject to availability, in time for a close-up interaction with rescued orphaned elephants and rhinos.
Enjoy lunch at a designated stop as you make your way toward the Giraffe Centre for the next part of your Nairobi safari experience.
Head to the Giraffe Centre, a conservation and education center dedicated to the endangered Rothschild giraffe. Feed these gentle giants from a raised platform and learn more about their conservation.
Depending on your interests and available time, you may visit a local community or craft center to experience traditional Kenyan culture and interact with local artisans, or continue to the Karen Blixen Museum to explore the former home of the famous author and its historical exhibits.
Your safari guide will drop you off at your accommodation or another agreed location in Nairobi, ending your fun-filled tour day of Nairobi with us.
